Award-Winning New Build Home
We're delighted to announce that Rock House by the Sea, designed for a family creating their forever home in Anglesey, North Wales, has won Small Project of the Year at the 2026 Graphisoft Awards.
We’re working closely with the clients and suppliers to carefully curate a palette of woods, metal and locally sourced stone.
The design is intended to be a contemporary but timeless home. Inspired by its context in the coastal island of Môn it draws from the natural palette of textures and tones found in the flora and fauna of the surrounding coastline and geology.
The project celebrates the rich local material and aims to harness local trades and skills for the build. For example, the internal stone wall will be fabricated with stone found on site, with a local crafts team installing.

We believe designing a home should feel exciting rather than overwhelming. That's why we manage every stage of the process, from concept design through to procurement and furnishing.
Our approach is focused on helping clients break through the noise and hone in on what’s important to them.
By bringing together architecture, interiors, and construction information within a single model, we can guide decision-making and ensure the design is fully coordinated. For our clients, that means fewer surprises on site and a smoother process.

Importantly, we take time to consider the details that give a home its character. From bespoke furniture to treasured photos and objects, we can weave the client's personality into the design from the earliest stages and bring 'heart & soul' to the design.
As part of our service, we manage the coordination of various subcontractors. We’ve found that other consultants often use only 2D software for their design, so we import their drawings to ensure their intent marries nicely with the full design. Archicad has made this easier for us to avoid mistakes.

We’re very proud to be working with local teams to create something truly unique! And hope it will have a positive impact on its context.
The house sits in a prominent position overlooking a popular public beach in Trearddur Bay. We believe the quality of the design will help contribute to a language of high-quality design in the area and boost the location as a beautiful place for all to enjoy.
