Designing home space is the one of the most personal processes you can do.

We have distilled our philosophy into these three key aspects :

1) We believe in fellowships.

We love the word ‘fellowship.’ It instantly conjures images of adventures through dramatic terrain with constant and ugly threats from all sorts of problems. Ultimately doing home renovation projects are challenging. Things go wrong. Frustrations arise. Stress levels flare. But through the difficulties it is the teamwork and trust that withstand — something altogether more magical and enduring.

2) We believe that form follows feeling.

Our experience of space is emotional. The way we process our environments relies on a complicated network of neuro-reactions that dictate our feelings in space. This is impacted by everything from our evolutionary DNA, to cultural contexts all the way through to deeply personal memories, relationships and self expression. By listening to our inner intuition and through cutting-edge research into neuro aesthetics and psychology, we are able to provide a service that is tailored to how you want to live.

3) We embrace a multi-level design approach.

We provide services ranging from architecture to interior decoration. As professional architects and designers we provide efficient services in feasibility, concept, obtaining planning permission, historic buildings, 3D visualisations, technical design, onsite support, object procurement and interior styling. We ultimately think finding joy in space is personal and implementations must be flexible to fit your needs and lifestyle.

Space A was founded on friendship. Having met studying architecture at the Royal College of Art in London, Anna and Amelia connected through a love of beautiful and fulfilling space. We’re insatiable. We can’t stop talking about it, researching it and playing with ideas and inspiration. In working together we foster an energy based on conscientious hard work with a sprinkle of joy.
